The Shimano Expride was originally developed as a bass rod, yet it is also suitable for our European predatory fishing. If you are looking for a baitcasting rod that meets your high expectations, look no further, the Expride is flawless. Light, medium or even large lures, with both Spinning and Baitcasting reels, the Expride range covers it all, and with a sensitivity that few rods can match.

The remarkable sensitivity you feel when using the Expride is the result of two exclusive Shimano technologies. The High Modulus Full Carbon blanks are built using Hi-Power X technology. This reduces the twisting of the blank when casting and fishing and results in a very responsive feel. There is also a Carbon Monocoque handle that transfers more information from the blank to your hand, giving you unprecedented insight into what is happening to your lure underwater.

The Expride is equipped with Fuji SiC guides and a lightweight Shimano Ci4+ reel seat for both Spinning and Baitcasting reels. And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, the stunning performance is matched by a classic gloss black blank and cork handle, one of the most attractive combinations we've seen. In use, the Expride won't disappoint you either.
