Sufix 131 G-Core takes braided lines to a new level! Unbeatable properties with regard to knot strength and casting power, for example.
The Sufix 131 Braid line consists of 12 bundles of HMPE fibres braided around a Gore Performance Braid core. Over one centimetre, the fibres cross each other 60 times. Due to its structure, Sufix 131 Braid is rounder, firmer and tighter, i.e. has better properties, than any other 12 or 16 braided line.
The rounded line glides through the guides with less friction, which means more accurate casting and provides extra reach when you need it. Rounded line also has less drag in the water. The more fibres the line contains, the smoother the structure is. This improves reliability in both a knotted and straight line.
The tight braid also prevents the core from accumulating water, which would change the line's properties. The tight braid is also durable and the Gore core prevents the HMPE fibres from cutting each other under load.
