The all-new Vanford is designed to be the ultimate spinning reel. Replacing the iconic Stradic Ci4+, this mill features a series of technological upgrades that set the Vanford apart. Still based on a lightweight Ci4+ body construction, the new MGL rotor makes the mill 48% lighter to spin compared to a standard rotor design. Micromodule Gear II and Silent Drive are featured in the new Vanford. X-Protect offers high water resistance without sacrificing light gear and rotor rotation. By including the new "Long Stroke" Spool design, casting performance has also been improved.
