The entry model of the Shimano Baitrunner reel range. But not just any entry-level model! A very good quality reel that feels very smooth. The slip is very fine to adjust and so is the baitrunner. This reel incorporates all of Shimano's new technologies and at a very attractive price.
The reel is equipped with a lightweight and durable XT-7 reel body and rotor. The combination of a Shielded stainless steel ball bearing and a Shimano roller bearing provides a stable and powerful transmission that is comparable to the performance of 5 ordinary ball bearings. The 4.6:1 transmission provides extra turning power. The Super Stopper II system is a direct and trouble-free anti-return system.
This is the ST 4000 FB series, a fairly small model and thanks to its size perfect for float fishing for carp, tench and bream, among others. This reel is also suitable for deadbait fishing for pike and zander.
