Built with a body and rotor made of reinforced carbon composite, the grinder benefits from strong and lightweight aluminum components such as the spool and crank. It also features 6+1 stainless steel ball bearings, two of which are high-quality Japanese ball bearings. Further benefits from Savage Gear's patented DuraGrease grease that protects against corrosion and wear like nothing else on the market. Like all Savage Gear reels, the SG4AG is built to unique specifications and innovative ideas, including a custom T-shaped clip that is much easier to use than traditional ones. Other features include a non-slip spool design that eliminates the need to use a monofilament for support.
