These are the carp sets that JRC has had developed to appeal to even experienced carp anglers. The set consists of a semi-parabolic all-rounder carp rod, a Mitchell 7000 casting reel and a waterproof pouch.

The rod:
The slim blank is made of 30T carbon. The blank is fitted with six SIC guide eyes (5+1) that are very suitable for braided line fishing. The handle is made entirely of crimp rubber (Duplon). The metal parts are black anodised. As mentioned, the action is semi-parabolic which makes this set very versatile. You can choose between two 2-piece rods with FD casting reel or a more compact 3-piece rod with FS reel.

The pitching reel:
JRC has chosen the Avocast 7000 Black Editon reel to go with your black carp rod. These reels are Slow Oscillating for perfect line spooling, mebbe a Multi-Disc slip system and feature five stainless steel ball bearings (4+1). The wooden crank knob has a beautiful washed-out look. The crank itself folds in and out super-fast using the one-touch system. JRC has equipped the 2-piece rods with an FD reel with high line capacity (415m/0.35mm). The 3-piece rod has an FS freewheel reel (230m/0.35mm).

The case:
The included green sleeve neatly stores your set. It is made of hard-wearing and waterproof 500D polyester and features heavy-duty zips. The zips are at the back so your line will not get caught in them.
