The Fox Explorer Rods are made with the already well-known X3 blank. These rods are equipped with an extendable section to allow fishing at 2 lengths. The rods are finished with a high-modulus, lightweight carbon fibre construction. The hand section has a Japanese full shrink wrap. Compact storage thanks to the retractable section.
The retractable hand section can be fixed at 2 positions, meaning all models can be fished at both 8ft and 10ft. This allows the rod to be used in multiple situations you may encounter.
The Explorer Spod Marker 10ft is a rod intended for spodding and marking at 10ft. We do not recommend using this rod at 8ft with spodding. In addition, this rod at 8ft can be used perfectly on catfish and sturgeon.
