Double Strength was the first monofilament line to become available in the UK, using Japanese hi-tech monofilament technology.

Double Strength has been a top line for many years and - despite there being many other lines on the market - has proven itself abundantly. Many top anglers in various disciplines rely on Double Strength.

Double Strength has a perfect ratio between diameter and strength. The soft and supple line in a neutral colour has good knot strength. Double Strength can be used for different types of fishing and is also ideal as an underline for surface fishing for carp. It is also a perfect choice for almost all forms of waggler fishing or short to medium distance feeder fishing. Double Strength is very versatile.

Double Strength is strong enough for casting distances and soft and supple enough for drifting fish. If you need a line that won't let you down when it counts, take Double Strength.

Double Strength is available in diameters from 0.128mm to 0.285mm. Double Strength comes on 50-metre or 100-metre spools.

The strength indicated on the spool of Drennan lines is measured with the correct diameter line and achievable knot strength. This is in contrast to the often stated linear tensile strength of lines: in fact, there are hardly any rigs or mounts that do not require a knot.
